Disney Hen Party Dance Class NewcastleBig songs, bigger sing-along.
This is the theme where the warm-up gets drowned out by singing. Seventy years of songs means the twenty-two-year-olds and the aunties turn up knowing entirely different films, and all of them know something — your teacher’s job is finding the ground everybody shares. The routine is sketched in pencil, never ink, and finished in front of you, The room is either one of the three we hire in town or whichever house the group has rented for the weekend. You pay £170 for the ninety or £145 for the hour, then the venue’s hire cost, and there genuinely is not a third figure. No experience required; sheer enthusiasm covers most of the gap.
Tell us the story.
The date, a rough headcount and when you would like to start is genuinely all it takes. Within the day you’ll have availability, the best of the three rooms for your numbers, and both figures in writing — teaching fee and the room’s hire cost. If the group is still torn between films, or between themes altogether, hold the date as undecided and settle it later for nothing.
a shared mood board is not a booking — this is ✦
Nobody needs briefing.
A Disney hen party dance class starts roughly forty minutes ahead of most themes, because there is no explaining left to do. Everybody already owns a film, a song and a strong opinion about both, and that shared shorthand means the session gets spent building instead of setting the scene. It is a canny choice for parties where the age range is wide: a nana, a couple of teenagers and a work friend who has met nobody can all sing the same chorus within four seconds of it starting. As a hen do dance class the movement is deliberately broad — big arms, clear shapes, a few daft character moments placed exactly where the laugh should be. Treated as a dance hen party it is the softest landing of the lot for anyone genuinely nervous about dancing in front of people, and of the hen party activities a Toon weekend can absorb, it is the one that reliably makes the bride’s mam cry into a paper cup. Among hen party ideas that keep three generations happy simultaneously, there is not a great deal of competition.
Arrivals, coats, chaos
Ten minutes of hellos while the playlist starts an argument about which film is best.
A warm-up in disguise
Silly shapes that turn out to be precisely the arms and footwork needed twenty minutes later.
The routine gets written
Songs picked, sections built, and the bride placed where the camera is going to find her.
One good take
The finish goes on video before anybody’s voice gives out entirely.
different film, different party, a different routine each time ✦
Two or three songs stitched together, a proper finish, filmed while everyone is still bouncing.
One song done well, which is plenty when there is dinner booked for seven.
Rented cottages, front rooms, a garden if it stays dry — the venue line disappears.
one fee, one party, nobody counting heads at the door ✦
Pick the stage.
What you want here is room to fling an arm out without catching a cousin, and all three rooms we hire have it. Whichever one we hold for you is named in the quote with its hire cost, in writing, before you are committed to anything.
Notes from the balcony.
Three generations, one chorus, and my nana right in the middle of it. I did not expect to be emotional about a hen do dance class, but here we are.Sister of the bride · party of 13 · Morpeth

six things worth knowing first ↓
Which Disney films can the routine actually use?+
Whatever your group genuinely loves — the old classics, the nineties run, the recent ones, or a deliberate mix so that nobody’s decade gets left out. Your teacher settles the final shape once they have met the room, which is rather the point of a bespoke class instead of a packaged one.
Do people have to dress up as characters?+
Only if that is the group’s idea of a good time. Anything of that sort is bought and brought by you — ears, capes, sashes, the lot — because we keep no costume rail and would never pretend otherwise. In leggings it looks the same, and about a third of parties do exactly that.
What is the full cost of a Disney hen class here?+
Ninety minutes is £170 with the whole party included and the venue’s hire cost on top; the hour is £145 on exactly the same arrangement. Both figures are written down before you commit, both cover the group as a whole, and at your own hen house the venue side is nothing.
Is it childish for a group of grown women?+
It is daft on purpose, which is a different thing entirely. The choreography is real, the shapes are proper dance shapes, and the reason it lands is that a room of adults giving something silly their absolute full commitment is both very funny and unexpectedly lovely to watch back.
Can we include a song for the bride’s mam?+
Say so in the message and it will be worked in. Requests aimed at one particular person in the room — her first film, the one she sang in the car — tend to be the bit everybody remembers afterwards, so they are well worth mentioning when you enquire.
Does a group of twenty-plus still work here?+
Groups from about six up to twenty-five are comfortable, and the fee does not move in either direction. Above twenty it is worth telling us early, so that the room we hold is the roomiest of the three rather than merely the most central.
