Wedding Dance Lessons NewcastleThree minutes, one spotlight — best rehearsed.
The first dance is the only part of a wedding that ships with an audience and no run-through. Fixable. Private coaching for two runs wherever suits, Newcastle to the coast — set to your song, paced by whichever of you is dreading it more — starting at a single £75 hour and scaling to a routine the videographer will bill overtime for.
Date first, dips later.
Give us the wedding date, any song leanings, and roughly which package appeals — within the day you’ll have teacher availability plus a candid steer on how many hours you actually need. Reluctant dancers aren’t an obstacle here; they’re the core clientele.

Realistically, how many hours until we look rehearsed?+
Most couples land at three to five hours: a single hour delivers a composed sway with a proper finish, three brings genuine ease, and five builds a full routine on your track — the kind guests film without being asked. Your teacher gives a straight recommendation inside the first hour and never signs you up for more than you booked.
We haven't settled on a song — problem?+
None at all. Bring a shortlist or bring a shrug; teachers are ruthless matchmakers once they've seen you move, and testing steps against two or three candidates in lesson one usually ends the debate on the spot.
Where do the wedding lessons actually happen?+
Take your pick: the front room once the sofa’s against the wall, your actual venue where early access allows, or a hired central space. Coverage runs the full North East, coast through countryside, with no mileage surcharges attached.
One of us would rather do anything else. Truly.+
Then we’ve been expecting you. Lessons are private, mirror-optional and paced entirely by the more reluctant dancer — the standard arc is dread, then tolerance, then suspiciously frequent practising by the fridge.
The wedding is a fortnight away. Have we blown it?+
Not remotely — the £150 intensive was invented for exactly this window: two concentrated hours producing one dependable routine. Starting six to ten weeks ahead is gentler, granted, but fortnight rescues happen most months.
Could a father-daughter dance share the booking?+
Happily — the private-hour format bends to any wedding pairing, and plenty of couples split a package: most hours on the first dance, one on a parent number. Mention it on the form and everything lands in one quote.
